That's too easy a response. There's much more to what happened than investing skills, start with the laxness with financial oversight in previous administrations if you like.

Many of us lost big-time savings, and not just here. However I do remember thinking at the time that CLL looked too good to be true! We're still a good story if the pieces can fall into place, obviously we won't see the windfall we were hoping for a few years ago.
