The market should be telling us inside 6 months whether the answer is inflation or deflation. If inflation, Connacher will likely be OK as long as their business execution is OK. If deflation is the outcome, then head for the hills, as nothing will be OK! My bet by a narrow margin is inflation. At least that is what Bernanke is trying to force. But, if he fails, then look out below. And I mean way below! If Bernanke is successful in forcing inflation, then look out the other direction. There will be rapidly escalating prices. Either way, all will complain. No matter what, the next 2 to 3 years will not be lot of fun. Pick your poison!
