I believe that what 2Crude was trying to say there was that in layman's terms, if you've spent a lot of money heating the recoverable resource in the pod, you want to be able to run on the lowest pressure and temperature possible to minimize costs. If your temperature and pressure are too high, the pressure is basically push "heat" out further away from the collector pipes, and you don't want to waste money heating areas outside the economic zone.
