Connacher is a growing exploration, development and production company with a focus on producing bitumen and expanding its in-situ oil sands projects located near Fort McMurray, Alberta
Your new SUV must be a tight squeze on some of those narrow country lanes of Belgium!
Yes Brian that's right .Also to park in town will be a problem but I have my roadster to drive also.Riding on the highway is super with that car between what Rebels named our "luch box cars".
We have had discussions on type of cars and it's clear as you compare an American SUV with cars up here that they are built for long distance drive on large roads.I bought that kind of wheels because such an SUV is considered here as a "working vehickle" and so instead of paying around 2000 € driving tax each year I only pay 140 € and I drive on NG which cost here 0.40 € instead of gas which is 1.32 €.So I will drive at lower cost compared to the Mercedes 230 CE I had before.
This week I met 2 Americans in Gent up here. One from Florida and the other from Texas.I had a long conversation and I had a better idea now about the US way of thinking about many political statements ,laws etc..Very nice guys .
We talked also up here about green cars.I heard today that car makers up here due to the GM pronlems and Ford too wil focus more on hybrid and electrical cars.I can understand that you guys up there don't see that happen so fast because of the large driving distances etc.. but in Europe this will enter much quicker because
I think all news technics will now quicker appear on the markets also due to the crisis to create jobs in other and new sections for the economy. That could talking about the circles turn it again upwards in time.
Just want to know what others are thinking up here for the future .Are just me and Brian sceptical or have others too also not a very rosy view.Heard on the news again new meassures will be taken to fill the gap in the State box and many jobs I heard will not be replaced. There are also talks of freezing wages or even lowering etc..So not the best meassures to support higher consumption .Because stock markets are driven by earnings it will be a challenge .
Thought some further on the CLL news.In fact it's somewhat simular like we had seen on the upstart of POD 1.The big challenge is now to hold on and if we are lucky by end 2011 can bring us 20.000 bpd.Reaction on this news is almost flat .
Is no one up here able to calculate let's say at an 70 $ average price of oil what this can give us as cash per share ?We must bear in mind we have a double amount right now.
The first cost of the gasturbines for Algar to start up will also impact the cash.I think he biggest earnings can only come if the sattellite system comes on stream so that's for some more years to come.
