I think that the time has come for Connacher to divest itself of all of the Petrolifera shares that it owns, by giving the PDP shares that it owns to current Connacher shareholders. Whatever the ratio would be 1 PDP share for every 10 or 25 Connacher shares that you own for example. By getting free Petrolifera shares the recipients could either sell the PDP shares or retain them and buy more of them. With PDP shares at the lowest price they have ever been right now I think that most recipients would retain the shares and buy more in the hope that they would appreciate. This could possibly have a very good effect longer term on the price of PDP shares appreciating as it would gain the interest of a large number of new investors. Connacher would also be free of PDP once and for all which would mean no more dividied loyalties, nor more lack of focus on being a prediminantly bitumen producer and no more conflict of interest for management. Remember Connacher is a three legged stool: conventional gas & oil, a refinery, and bitumen production management keeps telling us. It's not a four legged stool.
Should we start an e=mail campaign to convince Connacher management of this on the Agoracom board?
Best Wishes; Scott
