You're right man.I think many here are in love with the stock.
About this
"There are none so blind as those who will not open their eyes"! And my previous post was not aimed at lack of ability to sell the Argentinian assets, but the problems in Colombia.
I see it that way. They started in Argentinia and they found some good wells and production was climbing higher.Together with the rising oil price then they did very well. But government up there could not live with an outside company pumping their oil up so they put a cap on the price they could get.40$
After all they have done up there their grow was limiitted and they start looking to Columbia and Peru. But they need money .So they tried to sell their Argentinian stake but they found no buyer for a decent price. So the rope has tightend again around their neck.
So what can they do ?Probably the same as they did with CLL.So dillution wil be an option.
So if you think about of all their latest actions in CLL and PDP you should scratch your hair.
Spoken about hindsight.I know one thing.Today we should have pod 1 running at 10.000 for almost 7 months .Instead of that we are much lower with higher cost due to the extra pumps, lost a lot we can't sell at a good price ,a double in shares due to the high risk they took to finance Algar in a very bad banking climat and still had to put it on hold ,PDP in problems etc. but hey no problem with amanement??Maybe they could write a book "How to bring a company on his knees"
So we can only hope that their latest deal they have done that they are more cautious with investing and bear in mind that they could survive even if things get worser for a time instead of running to the bank to get money. If we should do our family affairs like they did we are all over our heads in debt and could work until we die to pay the interest. But for a company is much easier. It's not their own money .
