seeing as how the subject has been brought up ,I feel compelled to defend this strategy.First let me just say that my first avg for CLL was $2.30 back in 05 sold for an average $4.50,then waited and bought back in @.98,I have since bought down to@.68-.69 my avg is now .84 in RRSP and .80 in non registered,I also daytrade,as I beleive the ever present doom and gloom talk on CLL leads to many buying and selling opportunities,I missed todays,funny how all that doom and gloom seems to coinside with with downturns in CLL price volatility,it has been my habit to sell on these tirades and buy back in when the tirades are silent,for me this is Mannipulation and so I go along with it .I do this with 20 and 30 k amts but keep my core of 50k intact,all I can say it works for me,I beleive it can work for others.

Mannipulation comes in many guises but when you take a stock like Connachers with its solid assets and its future earning potential one has to wonder what the motives are of those who dwell not so much the negatives but bashing the positives,Connachers financials depend indirectly on the bbl pricing as do the rest of Oil producers,an argument can be made that CLL,price looks to WTI price for direction it is not coinsidence that production was cut to 50% when WTI was hovering at $30 but has since ramped up as WTI hovers around $50,no new production should be expected at these price levels and that goes for all other producers.But as world leaders spend their way out of recession DEMAND will cause BBL price to escallate how much will depend on rate of recoverey too fast and recovery will be curtailed ,producers like OPEC have shown they will cooperate ,but keep in mind they float the $80/bbl price.
