Almost everything sounded very positive to me. For the most part treading water through the rest of 2009. Little to come in the way of expenditures, primarily fine tuning what's already in place. MRC is expected to generate some profit; we'll see. Improving SOR's and transportation/processing facilities.
The real disappointment remains the credit facility. I can't believe these bankers. The taxpayers bail out the banks, and the banks turn around and screw their customers. I'm amazed there isn't any means of legal recourse against these banks, as they sure seem to be getting away with purposeful harm to our business, almost breech-of-contract or something. This may be Alberta's chance to put her money where her mouth is by supporting Connacher and other small businesses with bridge loans of some form. After witnessing what's happening in the US, I don't see why supporting a viable business would be much of a problem.
