With respect to the East, and after President Obama's speech tonight, I wonder how the situation with the pipelines to the coast is developing. If I recall, Enbridge had a project that was put on hold; lost track of it though.

We see the changes coming from the East, but they're slow moving as glaciers, as will be the transition from fossil fuels to otherwise. China's rich in coal, and aren't concerned about pollution.

"Our generation will likely only see the early to mid term of these changes." I'd side with very early. Wish I could pop back in after a couple hundred years.
