When I bought in to Connacher - years ago - I noticed that there was an involvement with Petrolifera. I disallowed this aspect since I had no confidence in this asset since I perceived a significant swing to the left in South America - which continues.

Still - Petrolifera is SOOOO beaten up!

Other than the cap on the selling price of crude in Argentina, what other factors come into play? Due to the cap, I would expect the present price collapse not to be a factor since we are capped anyways.

Does anyone have any theories as to why PLP is down so much, and what the impact on Connacher is?
