A few observations on CLL price activty for Wednesday Jan 14th-09: (looking at the intraday chart)

1) quite a few long "no trade" minutes or hours;

2) followed by, or preceded by, what appears to be "block trades";

3) price decline at end of day;

4) almost double normal volume traded;

A check against Time and Sales could confirm the brokerage houses involved, but it seems that these trades are predetermined and agreed upon in advance.
