I agree with your post Brian, and -- as much as I hated to see it -- agree with management's response to recent developments in the economic landscape. Actually I don't see how they could have responded more responsibly.

Part of the quiet from the US is due to many companies shutting down for the holidays. There're just many more fun and important things to do, such as go sledding and spend time with family, than experience the day-to-day roiling angst within the stock market.

As far as I can tell, at least gasoline prices have bottomed out in my location.
