Assuming that Connacher survives and oil does in fact rebound. My concern lies over the argument as to whether we have entered a protracted deflationary period. If we have, things will become dire as investment will dry up which will exacerbate the ultimate explosive upward move in oil. The question, as deflation has been the prime mover at present, is how long will it last and will it become systemic or transitory? As I said earlier, in my opinion, such a potential is possible.
