Sharky from reading I've seen regarding windmill plants and such, the problem with them is more with distribution of electricity after it's generated. There's no infrastructure in place for this. It would cost a fortune just in power lines. I'm thinking everything will come to a more balanced supply system in the end, but it won't happen overnight. There's tons of reading material on this stuff. I'm using CFL's now at home (Compact Flourescent Light Bulbs), wondering what happened to the hyped LED lighting?
Oh well, guess this is a little off topic.
