Your question about Mrs. Pickens & Gates is on a lot of peoples' minds. I don't know that Connacher would be on the acquisition list, because IMO their diversification makes them less appealing. In my case on the one hand it would be nice because of my position and the Shareholder Rights program, on the other hand I would rather Connacher remain independent because of their huge potential.

I've been following some of this T Boone stuff and it's a little confusing. He's interested in wind power, but my understanding is that there are huge difficulties with wind power from woefully inadequate distribution grids, to requirements for grossly expensive redundant backup systems for when the wind dies down. The same problems are existent for solar power systems.

I'm more concerned with respect to Canadian oil sands, with the US discussions of off-shore drilling on the OCS and etc.

I have to agree with some of your other posts also, this waiting on the Algar approval is really getting frustrating. Patience is wearing thin. It sounds like DG doesn't want us bothering the regulatory agency though! LOL Have a great weekend all.
