Solo:

Brian did not say "**the big guys will sell large blocks to drop the share price. Such is a misstatement and not consistent with logic. Not to mention inconsistent with the objective of a sell off. The objective of the initiated sell off is two fold. First to create the panic which will cause a rapid sell off triggering stop losses with a rapidly cascading SP. As this process of induced panic reaches its climax, the manipulators can cover their shorts, profiting on said shorts. To initiate the sell off all that need be done is to throw low volume into the market at a low ask. A welll placed rumor will help.

They also fully realize that many working investors have a stop loss on their shares. Said practice actually facilitates the very action the maniulators wish to create. Meanwhile, the individual returns home that evening to find their shares gone at a low price and an SP that has recovered. Their choice is whether or not to replace their former shares at a higher price by buying from the manipulators that carried out the entire scam.

At the conclusion of the engineered sell off, the manipulators are buying the cheap shares their manipulation has created. These cheap shares become part of the manipulators core long positon.
