I realize that steam will always be used. I was referring to the initial steaming period of 90 prior to the conversion. It was my understanding that during this phase more steam is used . Like a car uses the most fuel when it starts moving and far less cruising at highway speeds.

I'm not an engineer, I can only go by my understanding of what is written and how it's explained.
