Good article, read it before ... not sure if it was here that somebody posted the link or somewhere else ... none-the-less one that in my mind best explains the current lack of performance.
However I still believe Connacher's really set up their business model well with small projects and integration. As Rex and others remind us, once numbers are up and heading towards Pod 2 production (to me one of the largest risks at this point), things will look better.
Reminds me of random musings I've had:
1. The Peak Oil theory is over-rated. There's plenty of oil around, just at what price? As the article discusses, environmental concerns, greed (royalties), etc.
2. All the oil being discovered in South America such as with PDP; doesn't that put the brakes on the oil supply crisis?
3. A while back I read comments about Connacher being more like an annuity than a one-hit wonder. Lost focus on that in the excitement of the moment.
Thought I had another one but it's gone like dust in the wind.
