Just how far back is the mine? It is my understanding that the Lake Tahoe "watershed" can extend back over 10 miles (or up the entire western slope of the mountains/foothills that surround the eastern side of the lake.

On a similar note - I am going to the Lake Tahoe area this summer and I thought I would contact the company and see if I could stop by.
