It is nice to see that the company is keeping the local population informed of their activities. LODE is acting like a good neighbor and I know that the locals appreciate that.

There does appear to be some resistance to mining but once LODE starts hiring local residents and paying local taxes that will change. It is my understanding that things are tough in Nevada right now.

The fragile beauty of the Lake Tahoe area is too great to be overlooked by any company that is located there. Virginia City and the surounding hills are a historical wonderland and just driving around one can easily imagine the silver rush hey-day.

I own a timeshare on the CA side of the lake (Olympic Valley) and I will try to visit LODE's property when I am there this summer.
