The story here will be one of the biggest of 2011. Multiple bonanzas are a real possibility on the Comstock. The company using new geology models on a land package never before amassed on the lode have been able to target arcuate structures that pool mineralization in certain areas. They've found a distinct correlation between these arcuate structures and historic bonanza strikes. These are the targets the company is currently exploring to find bonanza grade minerals. If you read the presentation below you will find it very technically oriented but this is the basis of the exploration efforts now being applied to MOST of the Comstock Lode. Never before has this been a possibility with all the different claims in a wide variety of hands. Controlling such a land package on the Comstock allows the geologist to understand the geology of the area as a whole. It is my educated guess that there are upwards of 10 possible bonanza strikes to be found on the Comstock using this new geologic model.
