"Current Progress of the Extended Core Sampling Program

Clifton Star is working with the engineering firm of Scott-Wilson-Roscoe-Postle Associates Inc. and Peter Bevan, P Eng.,regarding the selection of the specific cores for extended sampling. Samples are now being submitted to analytical labs on a daily basis. It is estimated that the present extended sampling program will require another six weeks to complete.

Clifton Star will be commissioning an updated NI 43-101 resource estimate for the Beattie-Donchester-Central Duparquet-Dumico-Duquesne deposits upon completion of the extended core sampling program. It is anticipated that this updated report will provide the first look at a shallow resource that may be amenable to large-scale, open-pit miningmethods."

from NR dated 9-17-09.

Six weeks until samples are fully submitted, then assay time, then engineering time...

What is pending is the NI 43-101 on the tailings and mill residue. As far as I know the Beattie mill shut down in the 1950's and pretty much sits today as it was then... This mill produced over 1 million ounces of gold. The floors haven't been swept... the liner plates still bolted inside the mills? (don't know if they are still there)... debris from surges in the primary crusher... on the floor and around equipment... barrels of sludge and fluids stored for some reason at some point... conveyor belts vibrate, certainly residue built up at points along the conveyor systems. IMO in these residues are ounces that are close to being in the bank. Ounces produced from historic wastes cleans the environment and can provide capital to move this company forward and meet its obligations with the optionor, in what ever form they finally take.

Shares may get cheaper as gold retreats and if more shares become available from holders of large blocks of shares. All events have a duration and I look down the road 2-5 years and CFO looks like a buy at these levels. If the coming reports and data fall in line, even in part with a positive POV then a target SP above $6 sounds attainable. If the syenite porphyry was mineralized as disseminations or in zones when emplaced then this is BIG.

Not investment advice. DYODD, look at the Beattie Donchester cross sections to get an idea of how much ground has not been sampled.
