Historic Discovery Along Porcupine Destor Fault
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Sept. 17, 2009) - Clifton Star Resources, Inc
"These resources do not include future potential tonnages and gold ounces that may exist at the Central Duparquet, Duminco, and Duquesne deposits, nor the potential tonnages and gold ounces that may be contained in the tailings facility."
No kidding... at 2 million ounces for just the narrow high grade veins (is multiple tens of meters narrow?) at Beattie and Donchester Mines of obvious vein material as the early miners mined.... AND this system of 4 substantial zones or “veins" is still open along strike and below 300-400 meters and the veins are growing in number.
This 2 million ounces, NI 43-101 resource is calculated with a high cut-off value of 1 g/ton , so the estimate is very conservative IMO. With 97% success in intercepting the targeted zone with core holes, this system of veins is exceptionally robust along many kilometers and remarkably continuous. Ok, I have posted this, OK this ain't bad... now the good news!
Selected unsampled core, now assayed from across the multiple year, multiple rig drilling program, is a HALO of GOLD, average width over this selection of holes is %* meters, THATS 58 METERS AT 1.9 g/t, newly considered at OPEN PIT DEPTHS. can you spell big?
B-I-G!
This expansion of volume of resource ore is simply, truly monumental. The grade? Why worry about a 1 g/t cut-off in the resource estimate, when the new ground (halo mineralization) averages, !>) g/t, sorry, that's 1.9 g/t!
Hello..? The Porcupine/Destor is a giant maker no doubt! The Beattie is in many ways is the strongest expression of the gold systems along the eastern length of this Elephant track, the Porcupine/Destor, it was the first deposit discovered in this area and produced 1 million ounces over a limited strike length... no one's dream... a fact of history and geology.
"Osisko" andnow “Beattie/Donchester/Central Duparquet/Duminco/Duquesne” land, where large volumes of open pit ore "weigh in" @ 1-3 grams per tonne?!!
HELLO!!
can you believe the volumes and grades, continuous over so many kilometers??...
Not investment advice, just wonder at an exceptional natural and ancient treasure of the planet. DYODD read the assay tables!
