I really am anxious to see the updated NI 43-101 report on the tailings. This is a key component to the Clifton Star story IMO. If the tailings and mill clean-up efforts can recover substantial amounts of gold, then the money for the pending land option payments becomes available with ample change left over to drill and expand the resource and move the holdings to scoping and pre-feasibility phase. Without large share dilutions, it would seem.
This is money on the surface, in milled rock and mill debris that is essentially just a gravity treatment away from producing saleable gold, in hand, maybe as much as 300,000 ounces. The news of this, if promising, will become the early story as the updated NI 43-101 reports are released IMO. I hope it is released near the time the up-dated resource esitmate is released.
In many ways we may be the next "Osisko" with far less dilution, with early production from the tailings driving the project forward.
Not investment advice.
