This is an oversimplification of the process of estimating the resource represented by a single drill hole. Assuming a cube, the size of the intercept is dangerous busines, IMO. In a vein system like Beattie, where mineralization is tightly controlled by structures one needs to be careful in applying this technique.
That being said... I believe that Beattie- Donchester represents a huge deposit where blowouts like the 160 meter intercept will exist. The deposit shows real consistency along strike and to depth... intercepts are getting bigger, not pinching out or narrowing. This is a great deposit and when I think about Osisko, I think that CFO has a better deposit... better grades and potentially more ore, certainly the share structure is MUCH more appealing (less than 10% of Osiskos shares, FD).
Not Investment advice... only prudence is suggested.
