Well at the time it was like getting kicked in the teeth but through some great decision making (and good luck) I took the Cliffs shares and with the price stting at $85 today, I could not be happier. Having to sell in my investment account and pay capital gains is really not an issue I ever complain about - it beats looking for something to write my loss off against-ha.

PS have not sold my core shares yet - not sure whether to hold on until the ROF assets get them bought out at $100----
