The Classifieds Hub is a free service offered by AGORACOM. The following policies and guidelines have been created to enable all members of the Community to benefit from the service.

Please read the following information carefully. You are kindly asked to accept these terms before posting any notices to the classifieds hub:

• AGORACOM reserves the right to post items at our discretion.
• AGORACOM reserves the right to determine the area of the site that the notice will be posted in.
• All submissions must be made electronically.
• Posts soliciting or advertising events, items or businesses which include phone numbers, commercial web sites, buy/sell items, SPAM, etc., are not permitted and will be removed. Postings such as “Free ride to Calgary this weekend . . .” or “Computer for sale: only $25.00,” are not appropriate.
• Postings should include contact information for application submission, and a deadline for application submission (if desired). Postings will appear in a uniform format and style on the website, i.e. fonts, bullets. Please use current postings as a reference.
• We welcome individuals of all different backgrounds, orientations, and views, so this is our most important rule: Healthy debate and the exchange of ideas are encouraged; threats, abuse, hate-speech, personal attacks, and harassment will not be tolerated.
• Many members find certain words make them uncomfortable. We ask you to refrain from using vulgar language on our boards. Masked Vulgarity is using cuss words and trying to "mask" them with other symbols or letters, so the word isn't spelled out. Posts of this nature will be removed.
• AGORACOM reserves the right to request that multiple postings be submitted as a single message.
• Notices will be posted for a maximum of 14 days.

Posting Tips

1. To preview your notice, use the “Check Notice”.
2. Include you entire email address. Don’t forget that external users may wish to contact you.
3. Include a descriptive subject to hook your readers. Vague headings such as “Job in Mining” aren’t going to generate much interest.
