CNG strategy for JIN from the Nov NR:

"Jinshan's market capitalisation is too small for many institutional investors to come in, we plan to expand its size by injecting some of CNG's projects into it," he said. "Once it reaches a certain size, CNG will use it as a vehicle for overseas expansion."

Jinshan's vice-president of exploration Keith Patterson said the company had reviewed nine CNG projects that were potential acquisition targets, but he declined to disclose details.

CNG had been looking at opportunities in South America, Africa and Central Asia, but had not yet made any moves, Mr Liu said.
