You can see the reason CEO's have a love/hate relationship with the SP. They're always aware of it, but at the same time try not to pander to fluctuations. Iron buys have stepped back for a short time, but there are huge amounts of liquidity in companies involved in Fermont area thanks to Consolidated Thompson/Cliffs deal which delivered an eight multiple for related investors. So the SP will increase due to Champion increasing drills to 8. However I'm thinking time will be short before Cliffs realizes there won't be time to let 6 months go by to complete C.Thompson deal before other majors begin increasing percentage control of Champion. Perhaps that's the reason for recent financings by related investors, despite recent gains. For my part, I must way the greater likelihood first: FNC reaching $1 or CHM reaching $4? Both have ore: ferment vs magpie. FNC has 17.5% of CHM. But CHM will hit 3 bil tons ore asap... Rather difficult choice of two that will deliver. CHM has internations investor...-------- SG
