A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT & CEO
Castle Gold is at a major turning point in its
brief history as it transitions from a Company
with the objective of building gold mines to a
Company focused on growing gold production.
Having attained the milestone of building a
new gold mine, not once, but twice in the past
18 months in both Guatemala and Mexico, the
opportunity now exists to advance the optimization
of the El Castillo gold mine in Mexico to
achieve enhanced performance and an enhanced
return. El Castillo, combined with the
potential future development of the La Fortuna
project and further development of potential
resources around the El Sastre mine in Guatemala
should, over time, result in a compelling
return on investment at gold price levels experienced
during 2008. These ‘home-grown’
advancements, in combination with efforts to be
part of the consolidation of other Latin American
based gold mining companies have the
potential to continue to enhance value going
forward.

GROWTH POTENTIAL
EL CASTILLO
Planned increase in gold production to +50,000 ounces in H2-2008 as a
result of enhanced reserves to 752,000 ounces of gold yields strong NPV
and cash flow relative to Company’s current market capitalization. An abundance
of additional resource growth opportunities on the property have further
potential to feed additional growth in production.
