CastleGold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CSG) (the "Company" or "Castle Gold")announces that John Paterson a director of the Company and formerPresident and Chief Executive Officer of Aurogin Resources Ltd. hasresigned from the board of directors, effective immediately, forpersonal reasons.

The Chairman of Castle Gold, Mr. ChesterMillar stated, "We would like to thank John for his past services tothe Company, and in particular in connection with his significantcontributions to Aurogin Resources Ltd. which amalgamated with MorgainMinerals Inc. to form Castle Gold effective August 28, 2007. We wishMr. Paterson every success in his future endeavours."

Castle Gold is considering other candidates to replace Mr. Paterson on the board of directors.
