<>Thats an interesting observation ... my guess is he was aiming to buy more at those prices (it was just too irrestible to not buy) ... probably had a higher volume bid at .73 .. got a 1000 filled ... raised it to .74 and hoped to fill the rest ... above .74 .... he either figures, why bother given the quantity he already owns , or that short term prospects are not substantial enough to warrant a higher bid and decided to wait for another day when it dropped further. IMO the quantity and price is very telling regarding his thoughts on the short term price.
I use this strategy for my non-core position which allows me to make some quick flips for cash with IMO risk free ... I dont mind holding an extra 50,000 shares for several more months given what I see as a no brainer long term gainer. Or selling them if it makes a quick pop of .10
