I think that our consumer overindulgence is bound to eventually have profound effects on our environment. This is a very long term phenomenon however. It may be better not to over hype this. People will stop listening to even big Al if he cries wolf once too often. I have just discovered two adorable little raccoon cubs in my workshop which doubles as a cat house. I hope mama comes to collect them as neither my four cats nor my dog appreciate my running a coon daycare centre.
