I suppose that hope springs eternal that there may actually be lots of naked shorts, that the SEC or someone who can do something about this tragedy will actually act on our behalf and that a merger of any sort will cause these NSS to be bought back. A lot of hope but many of us have been following this soap opera for seven years or more and a final resolution, if that ever becomes possible, will at least provide closure and some mighty big long term losses for our income tax returns.
