I received a letter yesterday by from Kathy Dunderdale, MHA Minister, Newfoundland Labrador. She thanked me for my e-mail to the Premier concerning the ongoing dispute between Vinland Resources and the Mineral Claims Recorders office concerning the Mary March property in central Newfoundland.
She states, quote: " The department has reviewed its options at each stage in this action and has consistently concluded that there is no alternative but for the present legal process to run its course. We realize that this is a potentially protracted process but it also offers all parties the benefit of due process. Therefore, while we understand your concerns, there is nothing that the Department is able to do outside of the present legal process. The Department has no control over the scheduling of the legal process, which will proceed in accordance with a schedule established by the Court."
