I'm no expert on this subject but I would think that they would change the margin requirements like what they did with the Hunts or even stop trading due to excessive volatility... But at any rate... I think they will make up some reason they pull out of a hat... If not there would be massive panic on a world wide scale. IMHO
Good question.
