OK! Still here with Canplats, long, long, long. Be nice to see some news. I hope for some soon. With 3 DD turning, drilling deep, wouldn't the space between news be longer (longer drill time, more work splitting cores, etc)? Still learning about this marketplace and the way stuff works. I appreciate your views!
One thing I asked at the show was about the small ~shallow intercepts (~8m) found in CRD-9 and Don Julio. In CRD-9 a larger intercept resides at depth. I ask for their view of this, Blaine said that they too had seen this and they just didn't know if the pattern just west of the fault would carry on through to Don Julio, but they obviously had noticed and the core drilling into Don Julio would tell the story. I wish I had more to say, but without any results, it remains a mystery. The fact that CRD-9 was in the general IP envelope and Don Julio has a strong IP anomaly is very exciting.
The tensor IP geophysics is just giving them a 2D view, Bruce Youngman indicated that they may go back and do more dipole-dipole surveys that will give a depth sounding on the chargeablity anomalies located with the recon tensor IP. The tensor IP is very valuable and efficient at looking into the other targets they have described.
As far as the other stocks, I like them.... but a Represa comes around very rarely and CPQ is still the largest holding in my portfolio, BY FAR. Forgive me if I try a little diversification, there may be a homerun in them, we'll see... in no way does it diminish my enthusiasm for Canplats.
