With the GIANTS being so big and all, will we see them coming? Is it possible that they can be stealthy and we are slowly being digested without knowing it? Will the company feel them taking small bites? Can they be buying shares through a proxy and remain hidden until they take the "lunge"? If some Giant is assembling an increasing position at this low SP they are getting a bargain.

The company must get info on new shareholders and the size of their holdings. Could a takeover occur via a Carl Icon style in a proxy fight? Do companies traditionally keep shareholders informed on these developements (if they are happening)? Is there an upside to resisting a takeover or do those moves weaken a company and de-value the companies assets?

I am not against making money (duh...) I am just without the experience in this small cap world to know which pathway leads to the greatest gain and bottom line is I seek the greatest gain. Fun would be nice, but it won't pay off my second mortgage.

Thanks for the posts, I am hungry too... to learn!
