Some more thoughts on CRD-9...

Quite a bit has been made about the NE-SW trending fault at Represa. One thing I know is that large plumbing systems are required for the intrusion of magma bodies and their attendant ore deposits. The Represa fault, as mapped, does follow the regional trend of the "super" structure that can be traced for +100 Km, in both directions from Represa. We all (most including myself) have assumed that this fault is a bounding fault and a major control on the movement of magma from depth and the "open" conduit for the movement of mineralizing fluids. However, it is structural intersections, where 2 or more faults cross each other, that make for plumbing systems that host huge ore-bodies.

With the Represa zone possibly now over 900m in length in a East-West orientation, I hypothesize that the structure that controls mineralization runs ~ east-west. This matches the "strike" of the ore body and would make sense for the position of Don Julio IP and drill anomaly. I think that the geologists at Canplats are thinking the same thing and may this have been the impetus for Drilling CR-32 and CRD-9. Remember, they drilled a hole 700m SW of Represa and reported NSR.

Just a guess at this point but the drilling seems to imply a controling structure running ~ east-west. This may have been a factor in the positioning of CRD-9 and may play a part in the choice of future drill locations.

I sure would like them to talk more about the geophysics they have run, we need an update since the early IP anomalies they have reported.
