Camino Rojo Mexico : In-situ - 4.0 million ounces gold; 68.32 million ounces of silver.
How can this be "bad" news? The "Speculator" got it wrong in July 2005, AND subscribers have had their opportunities to buy since early March. OK...
Good news here as I see it: Their confidence in Mr. Quartermain is carrying them to recommend Canplats (luke-warm as it may be), this makes RAQ's mention of finding intrusives and dikes in the DD ("Quartermain Speaks" post by windtalker) even more compelling and interesting!
Hydrovolcanic breccia pipes are commonly found in clusters...Penasquito is 2 diatremes, the Penasco and the Azul, Goldcorp geologists correlate these diatremes with the large NW-SE crustal suture that passes through Represa. The Penasco and Azul breccia pipes both contain intrusives and dikes of magmatic origin throughout; so the district exhibits this common clustering characteristic (at least at Penasquito).
RAQ's mention of finding these volcanic/subvolcanic rocks at depth, in the DD(?), in Represa adds to my belief that we have a diatreme/hydrovolcanic breccia pipe and could find others close by. My opinion, rosy as it is... reinforced by EodWay's "news", not investment advice.
