Just throwing this out there...

All in my opinion please do your own DD. Also, I'm not accusing any of the Insiders of Insider Trading or anything of the likes. Insiders of all publicly traded companies are permitted to trade in their companies stock except during blackout periods. This is why they are forced to report their transactions of which all the Management of Canplats has and in a timely manner I might add. That said, those that don't think you can get the pulse of a "drill play" from following the Insiders might want to get with the program.

I, like many of you I'm sure, hit a road block when inquiring about when exactly the diamond drills began turning. To be honest I was a little put off by Blaine's explanation to me that they "weren't providing guidance as to when the diamond drills started turning". Never in my life have I run into a company that wouldn't provide me that. I mean it's not material information. For someone like myself that lives by the rule that good news travels fast and bad news takes the slow boat from china a big part of a drill play for me is establishing timelines so as to build expectations on when the company I'm following should have assays in their hands.

So why not answer this simple question? What on earth could be the down side in providing that information? After going through it in my mind, the only explanation I can come up with is that they're protecting themselves.

Strictly my opinion and only speculation on my part, but here's how I see it.

I'm not going to metion who, but a knowledgeable poster here, brought us info back in January that not only were the two diamond drills turning BUT also a second rc rig had been added. No mention in any NR has ever been given to a second RC rig. No plan to bring one on and no announcement of mobilization. I have now personally confirmed with the company that the second RC rig does exist and is turning on the property. Point is, this poster was not blowing smoke, he had spoken to the company and the company was at that moment in time forthcoming with information regarding their current drilling. So being right about the second RC rig gives me the belief that the poster was indeed right also that diamond drilling had begun. I mean he had credible information that was later confirmed so why make up thesecond part?

When I take a big position in a company as I have here, I track the Insider Transactions closely. As you will see from the next post we had a flury of buying by Insiders both as part of the PP and our VP Exploration McNaughton and President Davis both went into the open market January 28th and bought shares.

Plausible time line:

Holes 7-12 were released Jan 21st.

Minimum 14 days turnaround between when hole is completed and assay is released.

Therefore hole 12 was completed at the very latest Jan 7(likely before but to stay conservative use the 7th).

An RC hole would take no more than 5 days (again conservative as its likely less) to drill, less if as they done in the past, two holes were drilled from the same setup.

So, with just one RC rig, the insiders doing the buying on Jan 28th and into February though the PP, must have liked what they have seen/heard from at least the next 4 or more holes into the oxide cap.

The real excitement for me, is that if the poster was indeed correct on the other three drills turning meaning the Insiders were buying knowing what was being pulled from under the oxide cap and into the sulphides.

Which brings me round circle to what I'm getting at in this post. What if the sulphides were being pulled at the end of January and look as good or better than expected. We all know how outstanding the reputations are of our management. Knowing that they 7 of 10 of them bought on the open market and or participated in the PP early February you would not want people to think they were buying unfairly.

Flip forward to Feb21st and we get a news release with two assays and "that two diamond drill rigs have commenced drilling in the Represa Zone of the Camino Rojo project in the State of Zacatecas, Mexico." Kind of an open to guessing statement. To those of you who ever have worked a project, have you ever seen two rigs arrive the same day, get put together, and start turning at the same time? Nope me either...

My guess/hope is that as the poster said at least one if not both diamond drills were turning back at the end of January. While you wont see visible gold in a core of the types of grades we're going for here, you would certainly see the sulphide altered mineralization. I'm guessing it looked good and we're waiting on 300m plus of sulphides that will hopefully show us something around 1 gram gold, plus an ounce of silver along with .5% zinc and lead.

If I'm right the assays are due any day now and should propel us well into the double digits. Time will tell, glta!

Regards,

Buck
