Identify, Focus, Develop.
Hey Rico,
Just having a look at VOCM (Radio Station) this morning and noticed this on their website. I guess CQV is trying to get some activity or hype around what they are going to be doing and the AGM. Either way the fact that they come out on a public forum like "VOCM" is a positive thing. I"m really expecting to see some excellent progress towards what we all want....and drilling and future status of their find changed to "PROVEN"
"2010 will be a busy year for companies exploring for oil in western and northern Newfoundland. Canadian Imperial Venture Corporation vice-president, Kirby Mercer, says they will be drilling four or five wells in that region over the next 12 months. This exploration will cost approximately six or seven million dollars. He says it's the company's goal to get a significant discovery license because the area has huge potential. Canadian Imperial will hold its annual meeting this Friday at the Glynmill Inn, Corner Brook and the company, and its partners, will be giving presentations on developments and drilling plans for its Green Point discovery on the Port au Port Peninsula".
My guess is that if they are not going to start drilling until the spring we will find ourselves in the same position that we were in, in 2008 waiting and watching throughout the summer for all the test wells to be completed and results released.
Regards,
