We all feel the pain... LivingtheDream... unfortunately... fortunately for me I am not highly invested...

As for the well I believe it can be upwards of 100 K to drill a normal well ... one of these holes may be a bit less but given that it was a third party covering the costs ... I do not think there will be much of an answer coming from that party via CIVC ...

I would hazzard that it will be tough for CIVC also to convince this third party to drill any more wells... given that they have come up empty and at great expense to them... including the 50K they have to pay up front to CIVC ... and we do not know how much the share was for this Third Party but my guess it was a steep price... just a guess on my part ...

I do not think we will hear much from Alberta for a very long time to come...

This news is devastating to CIVC and any potential future farm ins....
