Identify, Focus, Develop.
Hey all,
I appreciate the posting of the email responces from Steve. It shows that they are still working hard at making western newfoundland a viable oil producing area. I really feel that this play (CIVC) is far from dead. Like Steve said with all the east coast offshore oil, it didn't happen over night. This isn't the Beverly Hillbillies, oil just didn't come bubbling out of the ground for no reason. It takes many wells in different areas from different angles, with each well giving valuable information about the area and important data for the next attempt.
I feel that now is maybe a time average down if you feel that this is still a play you want to be a part of. If it isn't then I'm sure that someone will buy your shares....given the volume over the past weeks. Lets be completely honest we (CIVC) took the biggest and worst hit anyone could have imagined "A Dry Hole"....at the bottom. Obviously the share price dropped 50% after the news release...not a shock. It has settled at .05 so my guess is that the stock doesn't really go any lower.
There isn't really anywhere to go but up. The west coast is still a good play it just my take a few years for everything to fall into place. Until then I think the Alberta stuff will help them generate some income.
IMHO but maybe I'm a glass is half full type of guy.
Regards,
