I don't think the number of shares that SPE/UN has on issue, or its launch on the exchange will have any bearing upon the CIVC share price in the long term. If they float cheaply then there might be a small blip until selling pressure evens things out, but that might never happen. We'll have to wait until the merger is complete to find out.
