"Bruce Duncan's Canada Carbon Inc. (CCB), unchanged at 27 cents on 452,000 shares, has retracted much of its recent promotion of Miller, its graphite project in southwestern Quebec. The retractions of information regarding forecast production rates, cost estimates, potential sales and a life-of-mine estimate were made at the request of the regulators. (Those requests have been more frequent lately, perhaps because the resource sector slump leaves the bureaucrats with less work to do.) In any case, Mr. Duncan acknowledges it is "potentially misleading" to tout information regarding anticipated economic viability and planned production without having a resource estimate or dream sheet for Miller. He nevertheless intends to rectify the promotional void quickly. Canada Carbon has already commissioned work for a preliminary economic assessment
