Cigar Lake Start-up...

Cameco Corp. announced the start of ore production as its Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan, more than 30 years after the deposit was discovered. The technically challenging mining project was beset by delays and problems, and the uranium miner called the milestone “a tremendous achievement.”
