Royalty interest in two producing mines in Flin Flon, Manitoba

Message: Food For Thought, ...a Buyout is not a Squeeze Play on CAA

Made a few calls today to see what was in the works.... and what amazes me is that Hudbay has not made CAA a buyout offer....... But then I did some more thinking in this regard.

HudBay itself is on the menue froom several companies..... Thus having this litigation from CAA it suddenly dawned on me that maybe Hudbay sees this as an asset...... keeping would be sutors at bay with an impending settlement undoubtably in the works...... The longer the delay this action, the more they keep potential sutors away. Not only that with their cash position it is obvious those profits came from somewhere!

Since the 777 mine is the flagship of production, and the mainstay of reserves it stikes me that any sutor would think that keeping on the sidlines untill this action is settled would be prudent.

One other thing I noticed in going through their financial...... one of ommission.... They have no contingent liability to CAA for this lawsuit....... I think that point would have a tough test in the US with the SO legislation...... Maybe that is what prompted Jones to suddenly walk..... I think Hud bay could be in some deep KaKa if CAA is awarded a sizable settlement..... If I was a Hud Bay shareholder I would be asking some serious questions about liability disclosure.

I alsi think the courts patience is being tested in withholding the 777 mine acounting details.... They have some serious discrepencies in what they are telling their shareholders and what they are pitching to CAA as reasonable cost analysis for the net royalty agreement..... are these guys from Russia or Venezuala?
