CMC Metals Ltd. Update on 2010 Drill Assay Results at Silver Hart / Increase in 1,500,000 Unit Private Placement @ $0.15

10/25/2010 [ACCESSWIRE]

Vancouver, B.C.:

CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the first set of exploration assays from 2010 drilling at the Silver Hart Mine site. A total of 827.2 meters were drilled in 21 drill holes. A total of 4 holes were drilled in the TM zone, 4 holes at the S zone and 13 holes at the KL zone. The primary purpose was infill drilling as recommended in the 2010 Silver Hart NI43-101 report. Drill holes SH10-01 and SH10-02 were structural geology holes testing the truncation of the TM vein system to the south. It did confirm that a displacement fault has truncated the vein system. However, it is unclear if the fault occurred pre-depositional or post depositional of the vein structure. Further investigation will determine if the south vein structure has been shifted from its current strike line. The following are the highlights from the first set of data on the 2010 drill core:

Samples were prepared and assayed by ALS Laboratory Group in Vancouver, an ISO qualified assay facility. Silver values were determined using fire assay method with gravimetric finish. All other assays were by 4AR-ICP method. Standard samples and blanks were used for quality assurance and quality control for sample analysis. Estimated structure dip for true width was 75 degrees for the TM and S zones and 65 degrees for the KL zone.
