I dont think it is an impending JV announcement ... i mean they still could get a jvp but the recent climb, imho, is due to a combination of a couple things.

1st off oil is settling at $80+ and may even rise. drilling next door is about to commence and market emotion dictates a little run off on our sp. Our rig is due. i think as october advances, the media spotlight will focus more and more on offshore guyana giving cgx a bigger profile. Sully is doing interviews and presentation that are tweaking interest in cgx.

To me, if it were a joint venture announcement, i am hearing numbers in the area of $100mil to cgx ! If this is even close that would dictate(without emotion factored in) at least $1 to $1.50 rise in the stock.

Either way its all starting to come together for this small energy company .. finally !
